FIVE POUNDS LESS than last week!!
...just kidding. my scale is broken, or wasn't working this morning for some reason. it won't turn on and the battery shouldn't be anywhere near dead. anyway i'm going to try again later. the reality will probably be much less exciting than the normal two pounds. sigh.

i contacted timex about the problem i'm having with my heart rate monitor. i got an e-mail back almost immediately with this message, and nothing else. not even a name or a greeting or a signature.
"You should return that device to the place of purchase."
....
womp womp.
i did, and i guess i'm getting a new one in the mail tomorrow. (yay amazon and its amazing return policies.) guess this will motivate me to finally take the other 10,000 things i have to return by mail to the ups behind my apartment. sometimes life is hard.
